What Bitcoin is Not

Now that we’ve considered what Bitcoin is, it’s time to dispel some of the most insidious myths surrounding it. Code is not law. Bitcoin is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Bitcoin is not anarchist, socialist, anti-bank or anti-state, and it is not intended to facilitate crime.

Core (BTC) is not Bitcoin, and neither is Bitcoin Cash (BCH). BitcoinSV is the blockchain that remains true to the original code and is the one and only true Bitcoin. Finally, decentralization is a means, not an end.

These are the misconceptions we must put aside if we are to move forward and build on the foundations we have built.
